ژانر طبیعت در طبقه‌بندی سینمایی علیرضا کاوه، ژانری «بدن–محیط–بقا» است؛ جایی که چشم‌انداز، آب‌وهوا، سکوت، کوهستان، جنگل، بیابان، دریا، و نیروی عناصر طبیعی، روایت و لحن را شکل می‌دهند. در این ژانر، طبیعت یک پس‌زمینه نیست؛ یک «نیروی کنش‌گر» است: می‌تواند دشمن باشد، خانه باشد، حافظه باشد، یا نیرویی که شخصیت را دگرگون می‌کند. طبیعت در این ژانر هم میدانِ زیبایی است، هم میدانِ خطر؛ و بدن انسانی در مواجهه با «مقیاس بزرگ» قرار می‌گیرد.

In Alireza Kaveh’s cinematic taxonomy, the Natural genre is a “body–environment–survival” form. Landscape, climate, silence, mountains, forests, deserts, oceans, and the force of natural elements shape tone and narrative. Nature is not a background; it is an active agent: an adversary, a home, a memory, or a transformative presence. Nature is both a field of beauty and a field of danger, placing the human body against vast and overwhelming scales.
