ژانر سیاسی در طبقه‌بندی سینمایی علیرضا کاوه، ژانری «قدرت–گفتار–تقابل» است؛ جایی که ساختارهای قدرت، دولت، ایدئولوژی، مقاومت، انقلاب، سرکوب، و مواجههٔ مستقیم فرد با دستگاه‌های سیاسی، هستهٔ لحن و روایت را می‌سازند. در این ژانر، سیاست صرفاً محتوا نیست؛ «عمل روایی» است: تصمیم سیاسی، یک کنش داستانی است؛ گفتار سیاسی، یک نیرو است؛ و بدنِ انسانی در برابر قدرت، به مرکز دیدن و درک تبدیل می‌شود.

In Alireza Kaveh’s cinematic taxonomy, the political film is a “power–speech–confrontation” genre. Structures of power, the state, ideology, resistance, revolution, repression, and the individual’s direct encounter with political systems define its tone and narrative. Politics here is not merely content; it is a narrative force: a political decision is an action, political speech is a driver, and the human body confronting power becomes the center of perception.
