ژانر جاده‌ای در طبقه‌بندی سینمایی علیرضا کاوه، ژانری «حرکت–بدن–مسیر» است؛ جایی که شخصیت‌ها در سفر، روی جاده، درون خودرو، اتوبوس، موتور یا قطار، با چشم‌اندازهای متغیر، مرزها، تصادف، خطر، فرار و کشف مواجه می‌شوند. در این ژانر، جاده فقط مکان نیست؛ «دستگاهِ تغییر» است: سفر، هویت شخصیت را می‌سازد یا از هم می‌پاشد؛ روابط عوض می‌شوند، گذشته زیر سؤال می‌رود، و فاصلهٔ فیزیکی تبدیل به فاصلهٔ عاطفی و وجودی می‌شود.

In Alireza Kaveh’s cinematic taxonomy, the road movie is a “movement–body–trajectory” genre. Characters travel on roads, inside cars, buses, motorbikes, or trains, confronting changing landscapes, borders, accidents, danger, escape, and discovery. The road is not merely a setting; it is a device of transformation: travel reshapes or fractures identity, alters relationships, questions the past, and turns physical distance into emotional and existential distance.
